The designated parking area, the trails nearer the building, and the building are all barrier-free. The trails are crushed limestone. The outlying prairie trails are regularly mowed, and adventurous manual wheelchair users have had success using them.
Spring Creek Prairie is open to the public every day except major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). You can enjoy the prairie from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on weekends from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
